Swing Dancer? Here’s an Option for Tuesday Night Options Night

We can't have an AFS meeting without a family party, and we've got a great one lined up this year! Alaska Sea Grant will host a swing dance at Club Soraya (333 W. 4th Ave.), a hot nightspot with a big dance floor located just a couple blocks from the conference site! The bash happens Tuesday night, September 13, with live music by Anchorage's top rockin' swing band, The Luvpuppets. We'll kick the night off with an introductory swing dance lesson at 8 pm by Anchorage dance instructors, Nellee and Bobby, and turn the night over to the Luvpuppets at 9 pm. Admission is $10 at the door. You don't have to participate in the lesson or know how to swing dance to have fun, come anyway! Be there or be square, Daddy-O!
