Mary mentioned that she is still looking for someone to take over the newsletter.
She will send Tom the information on what the job entails and how much time
it takes. The information on the website for the annual meeting is all up
to date. Dave Zafft will send her an updated program today. The banquet will
be held at the Little America instead of Union Station Depot.
- Joe has reports
from the Committee reports for the Newsletter, Grants Funding, Audit, Hutton,
and Pike in Western Reservoirs.
2004 Annual Meeting
(Dave and Eric)
- Eric has a receipt
for Bovey Trophies to be paid. We should be reimbursed from Union Station
Depot for $1,000 since our banquet has been moved to the Little America.
- Registrants
up to 518.
- We have met
our room block, so meeting space will be free. We do not have enough accumulated
room nights to cover all comp rooms. They do have the Presidential Suite and
rooms for the AFS President and Executive Director. The Division’s Executive
Committee may be on it’s own for room expenses.
- Lynn got a donation
for $2,500 from BASS ProShops that will go towards the student rooms.
- Dave and Eric
are meeting with the hotel at 4:30 on Saturday in the lobby.
- Eric has made
reservations at the Samba Grill for 7pm on Saturday evening to discuss meeting
details.
- There are only
a few rooms still available for meeting space, if needed. Contact Dave Zafft
if you would like to reserve space/time ASAP.
2005 Annual
Meeting (Tim)
- Tim is soliciting
donations for the upcoming annual meeting to be co-hosted in Anchorage, Alaska
with the Parent Society and Alaska Chapter. He has several fishing trips that
are going to be auctioned off at the upcoming Parent Society Annual Meeting
in Madison, Wisconsin.
New Business
- Postponed until
the annual meeting.
