Western Division AFS "Riparian Challenge" or Excellence in Riparian Management Award

Known by both names, this award was begun in 1988. It is given annually to one or more federal land management agency local districts (U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management) for outstanding riparian protection and restoration projects.
