On behalf of the Executive Committee, Program Committee, Arrangements Chair, and all the folks in the Colorado/Wyoming Chapter working to host this years meeting, I'd like to welcome you to Telluride and to the Western Division's annual meeting.
From the looks of things we'll have some excellent presentations. Wide ranging - Invasive species, T&E/Endangered Species Act, Non-game species, Diversity in the workplace - not just fish, fish, and more fish. Things that we should know about and learn about to be effective biologists and managers. But we have the fish talks, too!
The facilities are going to be great! A new conference center in an amazingly beautiful setting awaits your arrival. I hope you're able to bring your families and take advantage of the recreational activities before or after the meeting. Enjoy yourself! Learn! Make new friends and network with old friends! Go back to your office refreshed and energized and tell the non-attendees what they missed!
