The 2004 Annual Meeting of the Western Division of the American Fisheries Society is being co-hosted by the Colorado/Wyoming and Bonneville Chapters. The 10 th Annual Whirling Disease Symposium will be held in conjunction with the meeting. The meeting will be held in sunny Salt Lake City, Utah, at the Little America and Grand America Hotels from Sunday, February 29 through Thursday, March 4, 2004. The meeting's theme will be “Native Fish Management: Policies, Politics and Practicalities.” The plenary session and a number of symposia sessions will focus on native fish management. Some of these symposia include Western Native Fishes, Research and Management of Western Native Inland Trout, and Coastal Cutthroat Trout. However, 20 symposia sessions, at least 4 continuing education workshops, and a poster session are being organized, so there is sure to be something for everyone at this meeting.
